Courtney Hood

Thank you for coming to my website!  Let me take a minute to introduce myself!

My name is Courtney Hood, I was born and raised in the Midlands of SC.  I love this area so much that I have decided to stay here to raise my family!  I have a wealth of knowledge about the area and what might fit you best.  I have been in Real Estate now for 9 years and I have loved every second of it!  I started as an Assistant to a Top Producing Team, continued on to be a Transaction Coordinator for several agents, and ended up using all of that knowledge to start my business.  Throughout my time of doing that, I learned what sets apart the Top Producers.Therefore, I am ready to put in place a strategic marketing plan to get your home sold, or help you narrow down your search to find your dream home.

I am a graduate of Dutch Fork High School.  After High School I continued my studies and got an Associates in Science from ECPI University.  I have spent most of my adult life deciding to work in the Customer Service world, yes I consider Real Estate that too, because I love being able to help people and working with the public in many different ways.

When I'm not working you will find me spending time with my family.  I have a FANTASTIC, supportive husband, 3 beautiful daughters and 1 cute dog :-). I love to dive into DIY projects, build stuff, tear stuff apart, paint, read, ride my bike and take random day trips!  I love doing anything that's physical labor....to me it brings me calmness and I love pushing myself to learn new things.

I am also very involved in the Justin Pepper House, which is a non-profit that houses women and children.  I have been a board member for the past 3 years and I have enjoyed seeing the impact in the women we get to help! For more information about what we do, go to www.JustinPepperHouse.com.  It is a phenomenal organization.  When I'm not spending my time teaching these women how to budget, I am also highly involved in our church.  I work on leading the youth and I'm on 3 committees.  I volunteer at my kids school's- by means of either my time or monetary donations to the PTO to help support the staff.  I love the community I live in and I love to give back any way that I can.

I truly LOVE what I do!  I love being able to help first time homebuyers get their first home.  I love being able to help families relocate to be closer to their other family members they love.  I love helping Veterans get the home they need or want because we all know we wouldn't have the freedom we have without them. I love being able to help other members of our community move because either they are growing, becoming empty-nesters, relocating for work, or whatever the case may be.  To me it's not about "closing the deal", while I want to get you where you want to be - I just want you to be HAPPY!
